Shadows into Characters

Perky and bubbly, but with a cynical side, Iowa is a promising pugilist. Her "smart-yet-offensive" style, mixing strategy with speed, is something rarely seen by audiences, so they're excited when she takes to the ring. She likes to be overly hammy and taunting during rounds, but she means it all for fun and is charming and upbeat outside the ring. She's no newcomer to boxing-she's fought male opponents before, but switched to female boxing because men were...getting a bit annoying. She'll still take on anyone, though-SOMETIMES men. Iowa is interested in boxers who can beat her to learn from them, and fighting lets her meet more every day.

Fighting Style:
Iowa loves using her speed contrived from her outgoing personality in fights. She uses it to mix-up and scramble her opponents, and also to keep them pinned in a small area. She thinks ahead of time during battle, by quickly examining what could take her enemy down. However, she can make false assumptions, which hurts her in fights due to being shocked when she realizes her opponent is actually not as weak as she thinks. Do to her small build, she can't reach that far with her hits, and also can be knocked down fairly easily if surprised or battered a lot. While she might be able to go down frequently, she's never out-she can get back up with about half of her energy still left in her after being knocked down two times.

Facts:
-Iowa loves gymnastics, and when not doing topless boxing, loves to base her outfits on it. This also makes her a little bit flexible in the ring, which helps her ability to dodge.
-Her gloves are black, but with two yellow smiley faces on them. She finds it amusing.
-Her parents support her boxing, but have no idea that it's sometimes topless.
-She possesses a fairly good intelligence. She's pretty big on History.
-She loves Pop music, and dances to let out her energy when she's not fighting.
